You are the song of love.
You vibrate in my heart,
through my deepest wisdom,
through the echoes of my bones.

I know you.
I remember you.
I see you here.

We sit across from one another
a blessing of the Beloved
a blessing to be reunited.

You play my song.
You play my heart.

You know the tune
each chord
each step
each note of my Essence.

You bring wine to my feet,
an anointing of old
an anointing of when we were lovers.

And I want to embrace you now
embrace you in my harmonious skin,
illuminated by your light-touch,
your fingertips of flames
your lips of devotion.

Oh, how you whisper to me.
Oh, how you come to me.
Oh, how you sing me whole.

You are my beloved.
My beloved lover before beloveds.
My beloved of cosmic might
returning to the earth
this earth-sky woman
this sky-earth man
this union
this love
this honoring
this remembrance.

Embrace me now.
Hold me into the solidity of your fluid heart.
There, I will kiss you.
There, I will love you.
There, I will be with you forevermore.

Cling to me here,
not in the old ways,
not in pain.

Cling as being One
—an interwoven vine of love
—the trellis of your wine.

Drink me whole.
I’ll drink you, too.
Come, sing me our song.
